2006-07: Became the first
sophomore since Washburn’s Dan Buie in 1996 to be named the
MIAA’s Most Valuable Player ... fourth Bearcat to win the
award ... previous three were seniors ... started all 31
games ... averaged 17.6 points and 7.5 rebounds ... also led the
team in field goal percentage (.577), blocks (36) and minutes
played (27.7 mpg.) ... averaged 20.5 points, six rebounds and
2.5 blocks in two MIAA tournament games ... was the only
four-time recipient of the MIAA’s Player of the Week award ...
had nine double-doubles ... scored 10 points or more in 27
straight games to end the season – the second longest streak
since 2003 (28) ... tied for the MIAA lead for field goal
percentage and ranked third in scoring, fifth in rebounding,
sixth in blocked shots and seventh in free-throw percentage

games averaging 5.9 points and 4.1 rebounds … shot 60.9 percent
from the floor … had 11 points and 10 rebounds in his first
collegiate game (St. Mary, 11/15) … named the team’s “Sixth Man”
… scored a season-high 17 points at Southwest Baptist (2/18) …
led the team with 2.1 offensive rebounds per game … second on
the team with eight blocked shots
