'Cats
secure number two seed
Prior to
Saturday night's contest in Hays, Kansas, the Bearcats held the #2 seed in
the upcoming MIAA Post-Season Tournament. After the game, Northwest maybe
considered one of the hottest teams in the league after they stopped Fort
Hays' five game winning streak with a 73-51` road victory. The win marks the
20th of the season, the ninth time in past eleven seasons for Coach
Tappmeyer and the Bearcats. In the MIAA Tourney which starts next Friday,
Northwest will square off against Pittsburg State. |
